Passive Intake Screens
Cook Legacy makes cylindrical passive intake screens. Every screen is an engineered solution to a specific problem. Cook Legacy intake screens fit into three general categories:
Drum Screen
An intake drum is a cylindrical screen that utilizes flow modification to mimimize maintenance and environmental impact.
Tee Screen
An intake tee assembly mounts two drum screens on a flanged pipe outlet. A properly designed tee screen can also be used to modify flow across the screen face, by orienting the screens upstream end parallell to sweeping flow.
Custom Designed Screens
All Cook Legacy screen are engineered solutions to a specific problem. However, sometimes performance needs call for a screen that does not easily fit into the above categories, and we refer to these screens as "Custom Designed Screens."
