Biofouling Solutions - Overview

Row of Coated Screens Cook Legacy’s Jacquelyn™ Coating is an effective, safe solution for protecting in-water structure from biofouling.

Jacquelyn™ has antifouling properties similar to those of copper-nickel but with very low copper leaching, leading to improved longevity and environmental performance. An object coated with Jacquelyn™ will remain free of zebra mussel attachment while the surrounding water will remain safe.

Jacquelyn™ is used for:

• Seawater intakes for desalination and cooling water

• Freshwater intakes for cooling water and municipal water intakes

• Biofouling prevention on the inside of seawater and freshwater piping.

• Biofouling prevention on docks and piers.
