About Cook Legacy

Cook Legacy was incorporated in 1999 to solve intake and biofouling problems. Cook Legacy integrated intellectual property for Lee Cook Intake Screen Company with design talent and experience from Cook Screen Technologies. Cook Legacy specializes in water intake screening technologies for the municipal water, power, energy, and hydroelectric fields. The tee screens, AirBurst system, and coatings are standard solutions which Cook Legacy has provided for projects around the world.

Cook Legacy builds intake structures, provides biofouling solutions, and works with clients on custom solutions for complicated problems in water.

In 2011, Cook Legacy was purchased by Elgin Equipment Group. We will continue to offer this and an expanded suite of services as a part of the Elgin family.
